Collection: Carolyn Moorhead Edmundson
Carolyn Moorhead Edmundson (1906-1992) was a cover illustrator for many leading national magazines between 1929 and 1952. Her positions included staff artist for Vogue, 1929-30, and Harper's Bazaar, 1930-37. In the 1950s the artist relocated from New York to Reno, Nevada, where she taught in the Adult Education department of Reno High School. Born in Pittsburgh, Edmundson was educated at the Carnegie Institute College of Fine Art, and later at Columbia University and New York University. She is also known as Mrs. Stefan Lazarewicz-Lazarr.
