Michalina Janoszanka
Michalina Janoszanka (September 29, 1889 - June 12, 1952) was a Polish painter, writer, educational and social activist.
She took drawing and painting courses and studied for two years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. She created paintings for the altars of churches in Krakow, portraits and wonderful paintings on glass, of which prints and more you can buy in the shop.
She was friends with polish painter Jacek Malczewski for many years and was his muse and model in numerous paintings, and later also the author of a book devoted to him.
She was a member of, among others, the Riflemen's Association, the Association of Industrial and Handicraft Youth, the Society of Ladies of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, and the Marian Sodality.
