Collection: Shafi’ Abbasi
Shafi‘ ‘Abbasi, son of Riza, followed closely in his father's footsteps, working at the court of the Shah Abbas II (r. 1642-66). He emigrated to India at the end of his life and was active by 1066/1656. He has introduced a style of flower and birds design which was later developed by Muhammad Zaman and ‘Ali Quli Jabadar in late 17th century. - British Museum
