Ichijô Narumi - 1877-1911 - was a self-taught artisit in the style of Kikuchi Yosai (q.v.). He travelled to Kyoto seeking instruction from Watanabe Shotei. Known for synthesizing western-style and Nihonga style drawing. Produced illustrations for many publishers.
